Since 1955, Mount Tom has served families from New York City and Westchester by providing children (ages 3-13) with the most caring program in the greater metropolitan area. and out; we are the closest private, suburban day camp to New York
City; we offer a great variety of cultural and athletic Our current staff also plays a crucial part in recruiting
our "future" counselors and specialists by providing our
campers with a happy, safe and meaningful summer experience. This
motivates them to return as staff when they reach the appropriate
age. Although we are pleased that most of our staff is "home
grown," each year we hire a few new people who bring their particular
